Last-minute win for Kildorrery.

Kildorrery 1-5 Ballincollig 1-4 in the Cork County MFL Plate Final for the Mick "Langton" McCarthy Cup, a last minute pointed free from Adrian McEniry gave Kildorrery victory. Ballincollig had the better of the first half with Conor O'Sullivan, Barry Moylan, Brian Cotter, Patrick Kelly, Robert Ryan and John Kelly, showing some fine touches. They scored first with a point from Robert Ryan and a goal from John Kelly, before Stephen Coughlan pulled a point back for Kildorrery in the 15th minute. With Coughlan and Colin Weste exchanging points, the mid Cork side led at the break 1-3 to 0-2. In the second-half, with James Fox, making fine saves; Tadhg Coffey, Eamon O'Connor, Stephen Coughlan and Adrian McEniry shone as Kildorrery came more into the game. A pointed free from McEniry and a pointed 45 by Coughlan had them within a point after 10 minutes and a minute later they led with a goal from Coughlan.
